QT7.2 not letting me use my MOTU audio interface as an audio source

I went to record a music video today.  I normally use QTPro with MOTU  
firewire audio and Canon video as sources.

Today, and I believe as of QT7.2, I see in the preferences popup:  
"MOTU not available".

However, the MOTU works fine in system audio, in GB, in LogicPro, in  
iShowU and even in iChat/iSight.

So it appears to be QT7.2

Is the MOTU 986HD unique in this?  anybody else noticing QT7.2 Pro  
not seeing their audio interfaces ?

I've already posted a bug at RADAR, but I'm curious is this is a  
problem with other audio interfaces as well.
