Apple acquires CUPS source

	It looks to me as if Apple treated the CUPS guy pretty much 
the same way they have treated several people associated with other 
FLOSS projects over the years, including people associated with BSD 
projects, and even stuff released as pure public domain. Which isn't 
too far from the way they treat people associated with shareware and 
some commercial stuff too.
	Which is to say, the project brings the people to Apples 
attention, they realise the person has not just the good software but 
the good engineering skills, and they offer them a good job with a 
company they like and a chance to work on interesting important stuff 
- and the employment deal takes into account the future of the 
project in question, which can take many forms depending on the 
project.
