Yes, Tony I agree. GPL is often painted as being the extreme when,
in reality, it is the middle ground. Discussion of which is the
"free-ist" often get confused in the use of the term free.
Anyway, these are just licenses, developers can choose to use them or
not, and choose to use the code provided under them if they wish (and
can) or not.
