And they seem to charge businesses for each time someone hits the tag  
(I guess like a Web ad click-thru).

0.03 euro up to 0.1 euro!

That seems quite high to me just for a tag-thru?

Pretty cool though, I wonder if someone could make an open standard  
version (getting around any patents).
