appleTV as a DVR?

Howdy All,

I'm hoping that the front-end GUI application on appleTV is "Front  
Row on steroids"  and that a lot, if not all, of the functionality we  
saw in apple TV will come to Front Row (2.0) in Leopard.

However, hoping and happening are two different things.

I'm pessimistic that Apple will keep Front Row primarily as it is,  
e.g. it will not be able to stream to Front Row from a Mac or PC, or  
for Front Row to sync to iTunes on another Mac or PC.

I don't think there is a reason why it couldn't be done (Mac minis  
have DVI output) but I just don't think Apple is going to care enough  
to do it.
