Actually, Jobs was _not_ spotted meeting with the head of Telefonica.  
What I reported in Gizmodo Spain— where this news story appeared for  
the first time — is that the meeting is _planned_ to happen soon.  
Meetings have been happening between both companies, but not between  
the heads. Be assured that Apple will be talking to other companies  
as well.

So no, it's not a given yet. Is all up in the air at this time and I  
don't think we will know until a lot later in Europe. My gut  
instinct, however, tells me that Telefonica for all spanish markets  
and probably UK thrown in to sweet the deal, and Vodafone for the  
rest of europe.
