AE (802.11n) shared drive - FINDER search?

Using the Airport Management Utility (separate download from Apple,  
very difficult to find) you can view log messages from Airport Base  
Stations [*] without having to set up a machine to receive syslog  
messages. This type of log output might provide important clues.

[*] I haven't tried it with the new 802.11n Base Stations, but it  
works with the older versions.
