I bought the LaCie from the Apple store and it's been an incredibly
reliable drive.

I thought sleep might be a problem too (when hanging off the AE/n),
but I've had it hanging off my PB17 for about a year now with ZERO
availability problems.

With the AE/n, it somehow "disconnects" or drops off the network.
Then when you try to mount the drive via the Airport Disk Utility in
the menu bar, I'm told:

"Connection failed - Unknown user, incorrect password, or login in
disabled. Please retype the login information or contact the disk's
administrator".

Access to the drive is via simple password, I do not have "accounts"
set up on it for individual rights.

If I restart the AE/n, I can successfully mount the drive.

I still can't search using Finder's search field.
