AE (802.11n) shared drive - FINDER search?

What's not clear to me is whether Kevin is unable to do a basic search
(filenames for instance) on these shares... that's been possible with
network shares forever. Kevin, are you unable to do *any* search? Or just
Spotlight metadata searches?

Also, with Tiger I understand we'll actually have the ability to use
Spotlight over the network - what I don't know is whether the indexing
happens on the server hosting the share (which would make sense, but then
would require OSX servers to benefit) or on the client (which would be
abusive but support shares on any server).
