Whilst we are talking about the Keyboard Viewer:

Is it possible to get to the Keyboard Viewer from the Login Window  
(without logging in, obviously)?

I know you can show the Input Source on the Login Window but I don't  
see a way to get to the Keyboard Viewer. I guess because it's not  
part of the "login application" that drives the Login Window.

It would be very useful when I am trying to login to a machine with a  
mouse but no keyboard (e.g. when the batteries in the wireless  
keyboard are flat).

Note it seems like it is easy to login to a machine with a keyboard  
but no mouse but not vice-versa.
