All I'm waiting for now is for Apple to include a "Target Disk  
Mode ..." button in the set of buttons that appear on a laptop when  
you it the "Power" button (or at least have the "Restart" button  
change to "Target Disk Mode ..." when the option key is held down).

I restart into TDM a few times a day (often) and the System  
Preferences > Startup Disk  panel is not the most responsive panel.   
I've tried to find a command-line program to do it or make an  
Applescript but I've been unsuccessful on both accounts (always have  
trouble with Applescript for some reason).

If anyone knows a command-line program or has a short Applescript to  
restart in TDM I would be grateful if they could share it with me.
