Ditto. There is probably no other sector where it is more crucial to
be able to weed out the bad than in education. In other words, there
is nothing worse than a bad teacher.
I think I'd welcome any mechanism that reduced protectionism for
lousy teachers, and I'm generally tolerant of trade unions.
