Hi Scot:
You can right click on each photo (or a group of images) and choose
"view as icon." It won't make much of a difference to the person on
the other end though-their e-mail program should treat them the same
way.
Here is another related tip from a recent newsletter that I sent out
a few months ago.
QUICK TIP 01- APPLE MAIL
In Apple's Mail application, after attaching an image to a post, you
can size down images from the box in the bottom right of the message
window (see below). This can be very helpful, and can save time
(especially with jpgs), but don't try to size down a PDF. It will let
you, but your file will get turned into a jpg along the way and may
no longer be readable after it is sent.
Other file types, like .zip and .doc cannot be sized down in the Mail
window.
If you want to bulk size down images, attach them, and select all, or
select them link you would text, then size them down. If you want to
size down just certain ones, separate them by placing your cursor in
front of the images and press return a few times. That way they won't
be "linked."
