It appears to be simply a reskinned version of MegaFon.

And at US$99 it makes the real iPhone seems like a good deal.

Admittedly it has "address book integration" (specifically, it
enables you to set-up a call from the contextual menu on Address Book
items) but also its own address book (go figure).

From a quick glance I am not too sure what features and benefits it
provides over the (admittedly rather crappy) free (and skinnable?) X-
lite voip phone from X-ten.

The Mac could do with a really good Cocoa-based voip phone though,
with exceptional echo cancellation and full integration with MacOSX
that didn't cost the earth.

What would Apple lose by including voip in iChat (which already
includes good echo cancellation)? Of course, it would be great if
the iPhone does voip but I'm not holding my breath.

We also need some really simple and accessible way to switch input/
output devices (both at the same time, and perhaps from a menu
extra). I'm not happy dealing with unavailable audio devices etc.

It's amazing what is happening with voip these days and more Mac apps
(and the platform generally) should try and ride the wave (or at
least be in the water playing around).

Cheers,
Ashley.

Examples of Hot VoIP: <http://www.gizmocall.com> <http://
www.voxalot.com> With the latter you have to dig deeper to see the
benefits (e.g. voip without any voip hardware via Web call-back).
