Windows XP Home edition is only slightly crippled, Vista Home is  
seriously crippled.

I mean, the Home Basic, especially, is total crap.  But even the Home  
'premium" version doesn't include the system backup and restore  
tools, remote desktop, or any encryption support.

I have no idea if the home version support multiple processors, but  
XP Home doesn't, so I wouldn't be surprised if Vista Home also was  
limited to a single processor. Less of an issue 5 years ago, but  
potentially a big issue now.
