yeah  .. I *much* prefer the direction iMovie 08 is taking us ..  
beyond the scrubbing/skimming feature, a killer feature is the ease  
of which you can  share your movie (in numerous formats) to your  
Media Browser (to be picked up by other iLife apps) .. such as  
GarageBand - where you can add more audio tracks or do some sweetening.

My main beef is capture.
