Recommendations (again) for UK ISP?

Howdy All,

I am still trying to get my in-laws to move from modem to broadband  
for their Mac, especially since we are getting them a new iMac so we  
can video chat.

Any recommendations for a cheap UK ISP, with or without phone (that  
may be helpful in convincing them to change, e.g. cheap voip calls)?

I've looked at TalkTalk Broadband 2, great value, but some suggest  
they have very poor service (could be anecdotal) and an 18 month  
contract (not a problem if they are ok).

Of course, Mac compatible is an imperative.
