audio effects in new iMovie '08 - what's to become of Logic Pro ? what about a truly integrated media authoring environment?

Sounds like you're trying to do professional work on consumer  
software? Why aren't you using FCP and / or Logic? They are designed  
to interface with multiple high end devices in a way that I never  
expect the consumer versions will be. Or are they also broken?
