in the process, one of the first panels asks you for your name and
email address ..
my wife is upgrading from email-only to full account
the process:
"Upgrading an email-only account or Family Pack sub-account to a
full .Mac membership
If you have an email-only account or a Family Pack sub-account, you
can upgrade to a full .Mac membership at any time.
To upgrade to a full .Mac membership:
If you're not already logged in to .Mac, go to www.mac.com, and log in.
Click Account in the left column of the .Mac homepage, and then
confirm your login.
On the Account Settings page, click Join Now and follow the onscreen
instructions."
The first panel asks for firstname, lastname .. and "current email
address"
okay -- so when I enter her "current email address", ie: her dot mac
email address (email-only account) I get this:
"To upgrade your account, please provide the following information
and click continue.
Please enter an email address that is not .Mac."
since we don't have email addresses that are NOT dot mac, any
suggestions ?
