I assume you mean the MB's KB is much better.

Yes, my questioning the new keyboards wasn't meant to be a vote in  
favour of Apple's old keyboards (I was speaking more generally).

I have found Apple's (now) old keyboards (the all white ones) to be  
"hard" as well and they caused a quite a bit of strain on my fingers.

I think there are a lot better "full-action" keyboards.
