New iMac Glass?

Howdy All,

Does anyone know if the glass (SiO2 as Steve mentioned ;-) on the new  
iMac covers the whole screen or is just used around the borders?  I  
find it hard to tell from the photos.

Personally, I think it would be great to cover the whole screen, make  
it much less resistant to damage (scratches and the like) without  
losing much brightness etc.

PS On a different note, I am not convinced these keyboards are better  
(the flat keys with shorter action) but I am sure MacBook owner's  
will swear by them ...  Cheaper yes, better, not sure.
