Hmm. One could always extend a finger or two to feel where the
cord was. And after the first generation of the 'puck' mouse,
there was an indent on the front of the button to help orient
it. At any rate, having used several of them over the years, I
never really experienced this problem that so many people
complain about so vocally with this mouse. I certainly won't say
it's the best mouse I've used, but I did find it to be usable.

It fit the design 'look' of the iMac. I'd guess that someone
made allowances.
