no, I think bill was using DVI
My guess (and that's all it is) is some better interpolation.. Apple
filed a patent about up-conversion not terribly long ago.
I've been considering moving my AppleTV from the bedroom TV (an HD
LCD) to the living room (an HD CRT)... I think the picture would be
much better still on the tube (sharpness is a general issue I have
with the LCD). mind you, once I take downstairs, it can't come back
up.. sigh.
