Sure, but I can understand how there could be people who are so into  
music that to listen to it on anything less than the best system  
(they can possibly afford) would be (to them) a travesty.

Personally, I cannot hear that much detail in music but I am sure  
there are those who can (and I probably could if I had the time,  
inclination and money to experience music like they have).

I think it could be easy to become obsessed with the fidelity from  
this angle, as a music lover, not just from the my audio system is  
better than yours angle, or the I spent so much angle.
