Even on the best available film stock I think this isn't true.
Super16, okay, 8mm or Super 8mm, nope. And you'd have to find someone
who could scan the 8mm properly, another non-trivial barrier.

I think we're about to slip into the craziness of audiophile territory
here where someone is always ultimately sensitive to some fundamental
defect in some particular technology.

Apple's next iteration on the Apple TV might interest me but this
version just doesn't do it.
