For a film with really great art direction and cinematography, even
1080p is a piss-poor substitute for 35mm film.
Is the difference between a good standard DVD and a top quality 1080p
enough to warrant thousands and thousands of dollars in expense, and
surrendering all fair use rights to the ContentCartel? I don't think
so. If you want to see the best possible image of a movie, you need
to see it from FILM, not digital <anything>.

1080p might be up to 8mm quality.

Yeah, I can't listen to Stairway to Heaven without the vinyl sound.
Just doesn't sound right to me.
