I'm not since discovering how simple it is to add divx and xvid and =20
other playback options. AppleTVFiles is making astounding progress.

It seems a silly thing to not have. Why have a =F0TV AND a DVD player?

Eh. While this would be a nice feature to have, it's not that big a =20
deal.

You know, I can rent DVDs at any McDOnald's for $1. I'm not going to =20=
pay $4 or so to rent a movie on my =F0TV. How many rentals is the XboX =20=
360 generating? An infinitesimally small number, I bet.

I'm all in favor of lower pricing, but this statement is flat out =20
wrong. 802.11n, a 40GB hard drive, HDMI AND component video all for =20
$300?

And the video ipod doesn't have HDMI or 802.11n.

Can't comment on that one. I want one to use with my large =20
collection of Divx and m4v files, which grows daily. I don't even =20
use DVDs anymore, I just pop them into the Mac Pro and let MAdiaFork =20
go to town on them, then I watch them via my one wintendo machine =20
(the only one with svideo out) on the TV via vlc.
