VisualHub - quick try, major failure

Scott,

I've had excellent results with Visual Hub as well, but I tend to use
Cinematize Pro to extract the chapters I'm interested in first, and
not convert straight from the dvd/video_ts. Cinematize Pro has
excellent de-interlacing capabilities, but unfortunately only for a
small range of dvds.

You might try VH's advanced settings and check 'Force: Quicktime
Decoding' and see if that makes any difference in the end result.

Handbrake does a really good job as well, if you can live with it
clipping the last three seconds off the end of your video selection.
