The other problem is Junk Mail - the junk rule is set to run
before anything else is apparently, not after. Is there a way to set
the priority short of simply making the junk rule another "normal" rule?
Or is it time to start using massive numbers of smart folders,
applescripts, or another email client (or start brewing my own in
xCode - when is Apple going to come out with something called
CoreMail, anyway.. Actually, 'MailCore', as it fits with the
convention of 'WebCore'..

Just thinking about this - or ANYWHERE in the OS - through Universal
Access or Keyboard Shortcuts. Not just menus - but buttons, tabs in
tabbed views, panes, etc. Then when a modifer (or none, or just THE
modifier, set by user preference, although the last option would be
hard to do fast programmatically unless lists were made up in advance
for each program element) then mod-key appeared (like in BBEdit 6
when you pressed Cmd in the Find dialog), or if the mod-keys were
always there (small, small-caps type, a la the way FruitMenu displays
it)
And then allow those shortcuts to be assigned to ANYTHING -
keyboard events, other events (from mouse buttons, foot pedels), or
custom event codes that would be sent from something like a Saling
Clicker or other remote control app, a voice recognition app.
This kind of thing could be integrated (ad advertiezed! as long
as it wasn't another 1st gen Newton-with-Paragraph-recog-but-too-slow-
a-processor-and-not-enough-emory-nor-a-big-enough-dictionary) with
VoiceOver or whatever they call the STT side - "Speakable Options"
just doesn't have the same ring as "VoiceOver".. 'RosettaVoice' or
"VoiceWell' perhaps - I'm horrible at coming up with good names :)
