Economics of iPod Games

Hi,

I was thinking this morning about the fact that many have
commented on that the Nano cannot run games (I'm not sure about the
new Nanos), only the HDD-based iPods. Which led me to wonder, since
a lot of people might go for the Nano on price, what if Apple were to
through in a free set of games with purchases of the 30GB model for a
while? Would that induce more "Nano switchers"? Of course, the
maintainance costs for the HDD-based ones are probably higher, since
the Nanos have no moving parts, with the possible exception of the
buttons under the click-wheel itself (could that clicking be
capacitace-based as well?)

- Waiting for the iPod SDK integrated into xCode to show up.. Or
maybe I'll just see if the game file is a straight ARM ELF file and
try to reverse-engineer Pixo and Apple's 'iPod QT' layer..
