If I understand things correctly, no macros will work. Functions and  
other such stuff will work, but a whole lot of Stupid Excel Tricks  
are stone cold dead. There is no reason to buy Excel, not when  
OpenOffice exists and is free, and when Apple is almost certain to  
drop a spreadsheet into iWork next year.
