Frameworks, categories and shared namespace

Right, I think Apple missed an enormous opportunity here, that may not  
present itself anymore for about a decade (judging on the timespan  
between Obj-C 1.0 and Obj-C 2.0).

BTW, I did not add a dupe to this request, but I did file a  
documentation bug, as I consider this issue important enough to  
consider lack of proper documentation (warnings and guidance) a bug,  
also considering the number of times I've seen it occur in 3rd party  
frameworks (as Adam also illustrated).

Anyway, I'd still be interested in answers to my question ;)
