Has anyone tried SCPlugin lately?

I was pretty psyched to see that there's a new version of SCPlugin
available (0.7, at http://scplugin.tigris.org/ ). Congrats to Jack
Repenning (and any other contributors whose names I'm afraid I don't
know) on getting it out the door! I got hooked on the TortoiseSVN
style a couple years ago, and based on what's stated in the
announcement, it looks like SCPlugin is now approaching that level of
functionality.
However, I'm kind of superstitious about Finder plugins in general,
especially ones that do things like modifying icon displays (which I
imagine *must* be relying on undocumented APIs), and therefore
somewhat leery of installing SCPlugin at all. Has anyone besides the
dev team been using it lately? Any comments on
stability/functionality? Compatibility experiences with the revamped
Finder in a certain upcoming OS?
