NSPort failing

Thanks.  Dunno whether I'd classifying it as broken or not, but 
definitely a lack of documentation.  I had just been looking at other 
examples that use a vanilla NSPort and quite a few of them used @"*", so 
I just did the same.

btw, are there any decent formatters out there for hostnames?  I'd be 
interested if there were.
