iSync Leopard issues

I am trying to get calendars on a new iBook w/ Leopard to sync up with an
existing .mac account, from a Mac running 10.3.9.  The old Mac seems to sync
fine; the new iBook is not downloading the calendar/contacts data.  Any idea
what to do to get it kick-started?
