I'll grant you . . . it is a bit more secure; but for home use it's  
not unusual for uses to not protect the screen saver and leave the  
keychain unlocked; so after the first click on every time (or  
whatever the button is in the keychain dialog box) it would still  
connect.

Every bit of security helps though.
