Linux on intel xserve

To my knowledge there is no distro that supports EFI booting.  The Intel
Xserve is an EFI boot system.

Since you want to do some file serving why not use the OS X that comes with
the server?  It's Unix and has SMB, NFS, AFP, etc for file sharing.

Keep things simple!  (And if you get too frustrated just box them up and
send them to me.  I'll even pay for the shipping!)
