Apache refuses to start (due to Parallels?) and virtual hosts problem

Apart from the fact that it's *still* apache on Mac OS X Vanilla.  I
run a dozen virtual hosts on non-server installs. Virtual Hosts work
as they would on a Linux or BSD install, as long as you're using
httpd.conf like $DEITY intended.

Just because OS X Server has a GUI, it doesn't mean OS X Vanilla
doesn't have a full-blown Apache install under the hood.
