screen sharing problem in Leopard

I have two platforms that are running 10.4.4 and are configured the  
identically for screen sharing. i.e. Apple Remote Desktop (Sharing  
Pref) is configured the same (except for different the different  
computer names and addresses). From a machine running Leopard, I can  
can screen share with one of these remote platforms but not the  
other. (All the machines are on the same LAN.) In Leopard's Finder,  
one remote shows a (Share Screen) button but the other doesn't.  Any  
idea where I should look?

Also, how do I remove unwanted "Shares" in Leopard? I have a non- 
existing PC showing up as a Share Point.
