Nope, sorry. The fact that everyone continues to be in total denial
about on this list is I can do this on Windows and not have the
problem I have on Mac OS. I can sort by date and file size, and not
wait 5 minutes while Explorer hangs waiting for b.s. unimportant
icons I could give a flying F about.

icons are not wonderful information, especially when they're all the
same, and the OS insist on downloading the same sh*t a thousand
times...that's just ridiculously inefficient.

If I have set a preference saying I do not want to see such data, at
least in Column view with respect to icons, that data is not being
downloaded and there is no delay. There is not such option for list
view.
