Humm... do we _really_ know that is happening?
If no custom icon exits then the local system should be using launch
services to locate the associated icon. That lookup shouldn't involve
the remote server unless the associated application is only found on
the server. The local system of course has to fetch some metadata
information about the file to be able to do the icon lookup...
Anyone try doing a fs_usage to see what is really taking place (sorry
jumped in at the end of this thread and I not interested in reading
back thru the spew...)
