InkChecker could not get ppd

The problem persists, even if trying to do a Preview of a print. Also  
I ran a app called printer setup repair and while it claimed to fix a  
few things its still broken. Does anyone know how to reinstall just  
the printer subsystem r=from the OSX installation DVD?
