For that kind of money, buy some cheapo LCD screen -- you should be  
able to find a sale or special or something on a 15" el cheap.  When  
you are not using it just stick it in its box in a closet or  
something.  Good to have as a backup anyway for any of your computers  
if their screens go on the fritz.
