setting up routed and automated startup

Hi list,

I'd like to use RIPv2 on OS X server. It seems like routed(8) is able to 
do this but I'm unsure how to configure it. Is there a GUI for this, or 
do I have to edit /etc/gateways and write the startup stuff (plist and 
script) myself? I did this for openvpn and put the files under 
/System/StartupItems, "SystemStarter start OpenVPN" works but it's not 
run on startup, since I expect the same problem with routed I'd greatly 
appreciate troubleshooting tips here as well.
