Kerberos ticket_lifetime

Hi,

I'm trying to increase the ticket lifetime that Mac OS X Server  
10.4.8 grants to clients, as I notice that Portable Home sync stops  
syncing once the 10 hours have elapsed and the ticket has expired,  
preventing further automatic afp logins.

According to these pages it might be possible,

but so far my changes seem to be ignored.

Is it even possible, and if so how?
