URL that times out for some users and not others ...

Eeek, I obviously should have looked there.  I think I was distracted  
by the idea it was a DNS thing.

Unfortunately, I still can't tell what the problem is.

There are a number entries in the site's Apache error log about  
missing error.html and favicon.ico files.

These were valid (since the files didn't exist) but I am not sure if  
they would have caused the problem.

Is "error.html" a standard Apache file, displayed when Apache has  
trouble, or would it be from phpBB2?

I have created both and will see if they still have problems (at  
least they may now see an error page).
