Problem reading multipart mime message in Mail

Folks,
I received several mails. When I try to open the first one it tells me

Partial message, part 1 of 3
To read this message, select all of the parts of the message and  
select the Message --> MIME --> Combine Messages menu item.

How do I do this? There is no such menue. I am using Tiger in its  
latest incarnation (10.4.8 with Mail 2.1.1)

Mail Help is of no use, Googling also did not help
