Where does AppleFileServer store the shares?

Well, I thought it was stored in lookupd/DirectoryServices

lookupd -d

might be helpful?

I think you need dscl or dsconfigad or one of those, but this is not  
something I've messed with myself.

Sorry I can't give you more details, but that should get you on the  
right path.

When you get it all figured out, write-up a cookbook how-to, why  
doncha? :)
