Dove Fax on OpenStep 4.2: rld() undefined symbols: __fixdfsi

After making our network Y2K compliant with the NextStep/OpenStep  
patches, we found our Dove Fax modem no longer worked.

Has anyone got the Dove Fax to work on OpenStep 4.2?

!! Can't install driver /user/lib/NextPrinter/Dove_Fax_Modem_Driver  
rld(): Undefined symbols:
__fixdfsi

My guess is that some lib from NS 3.3 is not part of the OS 4.2  
Distribution. Anyone know which one?
