The Omni Group announces OmniFocus for iPhone and iPod touch availability in App Store

"We are thrilled to have the opportunity to offer this new mobile version of OmniFocus on the Apple App Store," said Ken Case, CEO of The Omni Group. "A native, location-aware application with live, automatic sync for iPhone and iPod touch is something we think is going to be really appealing to both existing and brand-new OmniFocus users."

Already a popular application for Mac OS X, the iPhone OS version of OmniFocus (winner of Best iPhone Productivity Application at the WWDC 2008 Apple Design Awards) brings powerful functionality to users' fingertips. OmniFocus makes it easy to create and manage actions and projects on-the-go while staying completely in sync with one or more Mac computers via Apple's new MobileMe service or a personal WebDAV server. OmniFocus on iPhone or iPod touch can quickly bring up current errands, meeting agenda items, to-dos for home, and any other lists you need.

Using iPhone's location detection feature and integration with the built-in Maps application, OmniFocus can create a custom action list based on your current position and proximity to preferred destinations, creating a quick shopping list based on nearby grocery stores, for example. With iPhone's built in camera and audio-recording capability, OmniFocus can quickly capture pictures and voice memos, seamlessly synchronizing these with remote Mac computers over-the-air using EDGE, Wi-Fi or 3G connectivity.

OmniFocus for iPhone and iPod touch will be available for $19.99 from Apple's App Store. More information about OmniFocus is available here
